So after hitting every enrage timer in BT with a couple of different guild runs, I decided to do some research. It seems that the enrage timers are not tagged to percent health, but are, in fact, based on time. This means our DPS output is not high enough for the duration of the fight. I think part of the problem is that both times we had trouble we had someone playing an off role. I know Bioware wants to allow some versatility in the class selection, but I'm not sure this holds for hard mode PvE. If you're a tank, you've likely stacked endurance and spec'd for tanking -- swapping stance won't allow you to generate enough damage to beat these timers. Ditto for healers, you're probably not set up or practiced at sustained high damage output.

So, I'd just the recipe for happy hard modes is following the trinity and taking two pure dps, a tank and a healer. Should keep frustrations low and generate less expensive repair bills. Obviously once we're over-geared this won't be a problem, but just starting out it seems to make sense.

We have noticed a complete lack of guildmembers on of late, and almost no participation between the 50's in end game content. We've been on every night during 'prime time' trying to run content with some of you guys, to no avail.

I'm going to go ahead and get out on the SWTOR boards and get our name out there, but the reality is that if I can't get some fresh blood in here within the next few weeks, we are going to have to find another guild to join to do content. The 4 people in my family want to play at least an hour or so with other guildies each night. The last 3 nights only us 4 have been on, and then, once, Jamie was on.

If you guys just aren't feeling the game, or whatever, please let me know. If you have friends you'd like to recruit-- let me know. Otherwise, help me find peeps out and about in game, and I'll get a move on.

We'll re-assess in a couple of weeks.

By the way- I'll keep the guild as is-- even if we do find a group to run content with-- we'll just move our mains over.

So I'm trying to piece together a guide, here's the talent section:

Juggs get access to the Immortal tree, which is where you will spend most of your points. The Vengeance tree is more for PvE DPS and the Rage tree is pretty much PvP goodies (stuns, slows, etc).

Target Build at 50 (33/8/0): http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#101fMGcubrouRZhG.1

Recommended Order
3/3 Decimate -- you'll use this in every fight, 30% damage increase helps not only with soling but holding agro

3/3 Battle Cry -- Force Scream is you single highest damage ability in early game (when you are most rage challenged), you'll use this on every pull

2/2 Enraged Sunder -- Did I mention that you'll be rage starved at first, this helps on a bread an butter rage building ability

3/3 Guard Stance -- 6% ranged/melee defense? Oh hell yes!

2/2 Lash Out -- Retaliation ignores global cool down, you want to use it every time it's up, so reduced rage cost is huge

1/1 Invincible -- It's a great panic button with a short cool down. You should use it all the time, don't save it, your healers will thank you.

2/2 Quake -- 5% aoe accuracy reduction on a skill that you already use in every pull, this is a must.

3/3 Blade Barricade -- an additional 6% defense that is essentially always up

3/3 Heavy Handed -- Yes, I know you just opened up a new tier, hold your horses and max out this talent before heading up the tree. The 15% damage bonus is a threat-fest.

2/2 Shield Specialization -- You are using a shield, right? Add 4% to shield chance and take less damage, easy math.

1/1 Backhand -- Want to stun champions with a high-damage bitch-slap? Yeah, I thought so.

1/1 Force Grip -- Force Choke is no longer channeled, so light them up while they are stunned and suspended in the air like a burning man hippy.

2/2 Sonic Barrier -- Nice little defensive buff to an awesome offensive spell, this is a no brainer.

3/3 Sweeping Fury -- All kinds of rage generation help here. Enrage cool down reduction plus Soresu bonus. (I take this before Revenge because it gives me more flexibility in skill use.

2/2 Dark Blood -- Not a bad buff with the elemental/internal damage reduction, and gets us to the 31-pointer.

1/1 Crushing Blow -- This is just an awesome tank skill. Lead with it, and just press this one every time it's up. The damage bonus from having 5 stacks of sunder already up is pretty amazing.

2/2 Improved Sundering Assault -- Now that getting sunder capped means something, go back and pick this up.

3/3 Accuracy -- This will benefit threat generation and prevent you from having to work so hard on hit-capping with gear.

2/2 Revenge -- Nice little rage saver.

Options: You could spend those last two points on Dreadnaught for a 6% increase to strength, which will boost damage and absorb stats some.

Right off the bat go straight into marksman, don't worry about all the other trees just yet. Start with steady shot, your snipe/ambush are your main abilities while leveling, I usually would start any fight with Ambush with a followup from Snipe.
As you go up the tree be sure and pick up Heavy Shot and Precision Ambush, if you can time things right you can knock back with your cover pulse and as they are running back use ambush and shoot them back again, it's a great way to run things if you ever pull aggro off Kaliyo.
Snap shot - a MUST. Ambush then Snipe = quick kills.
Followthrough - same combo as before just add a followthrough to the end of it
Rapid fire - I personally got this ability although I didn't normally use it you may want to use this point elsewhere as in Deadly Directive in the Lethality tree.
Now that you are level 40 and have all the talents in the Marksmanship tree, you can start to worry about the others.
Snag Energy Tanks and Gearhead first just to give you that extra energy / damage
Vital Regulators - great for fighting elites in case you start to get low, stun and pop your Adren Probe

Let me know if this guide worked out for you. Make some tweaks, play the way you want to play; this is just a guide on how I did it.

Class balance is defined by the interaction between classes and changes we make to one class will, inevitably, move the balance towards or from other classes. Our data and testing currently indicates that the Juggernaut and Guardian AC could use some buffing up in two areas where we see them underperforming against our expectations.

Here are some of the things we're planning to roll out in the short term specifically regarding Sith Warriors and Jedi Knights :

Mobility/Anti Kiting (PvP) – We agree with the sentiment voiced by the community that some Guardians and Juggernauts have to work harder than other classes to stay within effective combat range, putting them at a disadvantage. We intend to address this in an upcoming patch where, as a first step, Force Push will clear the cooldown of Force Leap, granting for more reliable in combat pursuit capabilities to the Advanced Class. Further changes will be made if necessary.
DPS spec survivability (PvP and PvE) – The DPS specs on Guardian and Juggernaut are performing to our expectations when it comes to the ability to create damage, especially of the burst variety. However their survivability is lagging behind our expectations, especially in the later game, and we are going to start addressing that particular issue in an upcoming patch.

Not exactly the buffs I was hoping for (AoE threat, pls!), but definitely a start.
