Light Side vs. Dark Side

From what I can see the gear looks identical. So does it just come down to how you want to RP and the ease that you can gain affection with your companions? Do you guys have any input on this even as yet?

Not from what I can tell. I am actually curious as to whether or not there is neutral specific gear as well.

I'm going dark side, but I am nice to my companion and try to offset my meanness by giving him gifts.The reason I swear so much is because fuck you.

I got a Jedi Sage (Dark III) to level 39 on a different server and I noticed that the light side and dark side armor was different, especially when you get to dark III/light III or higher. Dark Side tended to be more black/red and the lightsabers had a more sinister look (think of Count Dooku or Ventress sabers). Light side had white/gray or gray/black, etc. etc. and a more Luke Skywalker round white lightsaber look.
I will be going Light Side Sith Sorcerer with you guys. Rattataki 4TW!
I have officially left my Jedi behind to play with you guys. I had more fun in one night with you guys, than I have since early release launch in the Republic guild I was in. So hold on ladies and gents, the Alkster is here!

Nice to have you back. I felt the same as you alki. Not with going Republic for the story though. I wasn't even going to play the game after the early beta stuff I was in. But with BiC in it and some of my other friends I had to make the plunge and am glad I did. So much fun.
